If it wasn't already apparent, after this week's Supreme Court leak we know with certainty that the Republican Party is determined to dismantle decades of Human Rights legislation and progress in the United States. It is imperative that we GET OUT THE VOTE this year to elect more Democratic lawmakers. In the coming weeks and months Democrats must show up TOGETHER to demonstrate our unity and the power of our vote.

The success of Georgetown County Democratic Party efforts to GET OUT THE VOTE this year depends on participation from all corners of the county. In order to meet more of you where you are, we will be holding several monthly meetings in locations other than HQ in Georgetown. First up is our May meeting in ANDREWS on Thursday, May 12th at 6 p.m. at Dr. Deshawn Rouse Executive Center, 6 Maple Ave.

For folks in Georgetown, Pawleys Island and Murrells Inlet, we will be sharing rides to Andrews, leaving HQ at 5 p.m. Please meet us at 149 King Street and we will head to Andrews together. If you attended the County Convention, you may remember Brandon Upson's conviction that DEMOCRATS CAN WIN. We have to believe it's possible, but it won't just happen. We have to make it happen. We look forward to seeing you in Andrews!
